Hello, voters of Cook County. I am Michael Murphy, and I am running to be the next Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County. If you value transparency and accessibility to information, then you are like me. Unfortunately, the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court is not transparent and seems to be hiding something. I have always been a proponent of transparency, and I promise to provide straightforward and honest answers. If I don’t have an answer to your question, I will strive to find it. When I take office, my priority will be to eliminate the barriers that prevent the Freedom of Information Act from being implemented within the office.
