Announcing My Candidacy for Cook County Board President

I’m Officially Running for Cook County Board President

I’m honored to accept the nomination of the Liberation Party of Chicago to run for Cook County Board President. This isn’t just a campaign, it’s a grassroots movement to restore integrity, fight corruption, and put everyday people first in Cook County.

For far too long, career politicians and political insiders have treated our county government like their own private club. I’m running to change that.

People over politics. Community first. These aren’t just words, they are the values driving everything we do. I believe that government should be small, limited, and answer directly to the people. That’s why this campaign is powered by neighbors, not special interests. It’s why I’m rejecting pay-to-play politics, and it’s why I’m calling for real transparency and accountability at every level of county government.

We’re building something different, something that actually reflects the needs and values of the people who live here.

My platform is rooted in three principles:

  • Fighting Corruption: I’ll work to root out waste, backroom deals, and political favoritism, because Cook County residents deserve better.
  • Defending Freedom: I will always stand up for your civil liberties and individual rights. No government should ever hold more power than the people it serves.
  • Empowering Communities: I trust local people to know what’s best for their schools, transit, safety, and neighborhoods, not unelected bureaucrats.

This campaign is about more than winning an office it’s about rebuilding trust, strengthening our communities, and making Cook County work for all of us.

If you’re ready to reject business-as-usual politics and build something better, I’m asking for your support.

Let’s get to work.

To put our values into action, I’ve launched a canned food drive supporting Our Lady of the Angels Food Pantry in Chicago. From now through Election Night, you’ll find a donation box at every campaign event. For every can donated, I’ll personally contribute $1 up to $500 to help support families in need. Because community care isn’t a talking point, it’s something we do.
