As a candidate for Cook County Board President, I stand for the principle that government should be small, transparent, and accountable. I believe that our county works best when power is limited, individual rights are respected, and communities are free to thrive without excessive interference from bureaucrats or political insiders.
Cook County has long suffered under layers of bloated, overlapping government. From unnecessary agencies and hidden taxes to overregulation and political patronage, too many decisions are made behind closed doors, with little regard for the people paying the bills. This is not just inefficient, it’s undemocratic.
I oppose authoritarianism in all its forms. Whether it comes from a heavy-handed mandate, an unaccountable agency, or political machines that treat public service like personal property, authoritarian leadership has no place in a free society. Government should never be a tool of control; it should be a vehicle for opportunity, safety, and fairness.
I believe in:
Small, efficient government that sticks to its core responsibilities: public safety, infrastructure, essential services, and does them well.
Local empowerment over centralized control. Decisions should be made as close to the people as possible, with open input and accountability.
Individual liberty and responsibility. The government should trust citizens, not micromanage them.
Fiscal restraint. We must stop reckless spending and restore trust by balancing budgets without raising taxes on working families.
Transparent leadership. Every resident deserves to know how their money is spent and why decisions are made.
I’m running as a third-party candidate because the two major parties have failed to uphold these values. Democrats have expanded county government beyond its useful reach, while Republicans offer empty slogans but no real reforms. I’m offering something different: a government that listens, serves, and gets out of the way when it should.
Cook County deserves leadership that respects your voice, protects your rights, and trusts your ability to make decisions for yourself and your family. If you believe government should work for the people, not the other way around, I ask for your support.
