On October 18, 2025, people across the country will march under one simple message: America has no kings. I stand with the No Kings movement and everyone peacefully rising up to defend democracy, accountability, and human rights.
This protest isn’t about partisan politics; it’s about principle. It’s about ensuring that no leader, regardless of their position, stands above the law. Power belongs to the people, and the people are speaking loudly: we reject authoritarianism in all its forms.
Peaceful protest is not only a right, it’s an act of patriotism. From Chicago to communities nationwide, we’re showing that democracy thrives when ordinary people stand together to say no to fear, no to tyranny, and yes to freedom.
Protecting Our Communities
Authoritarian power doesn’t just threaten democracy, it endangers our neighbors, especially immigrant and marginalized communities who already live under constant surveillance and intimidation.
If you witness ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) activity in your neighborhood, it’s important to respond safely and responsibly:
Do not approach agents or interfere directly.
Document what you see: take notes, photos, or video if safe to do so.
